- Restyle

A Restyle is for anyone ready to move beyond a routine trim and make a genuine change to their hair. Whether you're cutting significant length, redefining your fringe, or reshaping the whole silhouette, this service at Timba in Cardiff is built around a proper consultation and precision cutting to get the new look right.

What's Included
A Restyle is a longer appointment because there's more to get right. Expect:
- An in-depth consultation covering your goals, face shape, hair texture and daily routine
- Shampoo and conditioning suited to your hair's condition
- Precision cutting to build a new shape that grows out well and moves naturally
- A professional blow-dry and finish so you leave with the complete look, styled
The appointment runs 60 to 75 minutes, longer than a standard cut, reflecting the extra time needed for consultation and more complex cutting work.
Is a Restyle Right for You?
This service suits anyone wanting a genuine change rather than maintenance. It's worth booking a Restyle if you're:
- Going from long to short, or making any dramatic length change
- Introducing strong layers or changing your fringe shape
- Wanting to redefine the outline of your current style
- Looking to refresh a style that's grown tired or no longer suits your lifestyle
Our stylists, including Creative Director Geraint Osborne and senior stylists Katie Williams, Lucy Osborne, Emma Stokes and Hannah James, along with stylist Chloe Phillips, tailor restyle techniques to straight, wavy and curly hair alike, working with your natural texture rather than against it.
Aftercare and Maintenance
A Restyle changes how you'll style your hair day to day, so aftercare guidance is part of the service:
- Advice on home styling, including recommended brushes and tools
- Guidance on heat protectant use with blow-drying or straighteners
- A suggested schedule for maintenance trims, typically every 6 to 12 weeks depending on the style
If you're moving to a shorter length, it's worth thinking ahead about practicalities like tying your hair back or up-do options, and discussing this during your consultation so the new cut fits your routine as well as your look.
