This is a considered, multi-step service rather than a quick colour change.
- A thorough consultation first, reviewing hair history and condition to plan foil placement and target shades.
- Hair is sectioned and pre-lightened in foils so it reaches the pale base needed for vivid or Elumen colour to show true.
- Foils are removed, hair is shampooed and conditioned, and often a toner is applied to refine tone and warmth.
- For Elumen, a preparatory step (Elumen Prepare) and drying usually follow before the Elumen shades are applied, often in foils.
- Vivids and Elumen colours are processed, then rinsed with colour-specific products and finished with a blow-dry or style.
